Kindergarten ended their Fire Safety Unit with "hands on" learning at the Bussey
Fire Station! We learned so much from the fire fighters and thank them for their time,
for helping us learn and keeping us safe! We appreciate all you do!!
6th graders making pumpkin friendship bracelets with visitors from COC. They had the best time together. The class is hoping to go to Pella for their next fun event together.
Kindergarten is sending caring and cheerful thoughts to Florida! We hope our smiles and cards make things a bit easier!

The Computer Integrated Manufacturing Class is designing, assembling, & programming automated guided vehicles. Their AGV must successfully navigate the yellow track while pausing on blue for supply pickups/drop offs. When they complete that task, they will redesign their vehicle for a “robot war."
Thank you to the Vermeer Charitable Foundation for their grant, which provided the smart motors for the class projects.

The Saber Shop at the High School has provided food items, clothing and school supplies to students in need. Due to generous donors, we are now able to share bags of food with Twin Cedars families. Pick up a bag of food from the High School Cafeteria on Mondays from 10 a.m.- Noon.

Why Twin Cedars: I was looking for a change and was attracted to the small community/district.

There are notification and collaboration steps that we, and all school districts in Iowa, must take when a student’s absenteeism reaches a certain threshold throughout the school year.
Twin Cedars CSD is looking for a Level 3 Special Education Associate, this position is starting at $14 an hour. We are on a 4-day school week, Tuesday through Friday.
