The high school BGC track meet in Lamoni has been postponed for today. It will be held Monday, May 6 in Lamoni.

Mrs. Sorensen and the high school chemistry class visited the elementary today and shared some chemistry expertise and experiments! Thanks for sharing!

You are invited to our annual Title I parent meeting on Friday, May 3. Come enjoy Pancakes with Pals 7:00 - 8:00 in the elementary cafeteria. Then head to Mrs. Micetich's class for the Title I parent meeting at 8:00. Weather permitting the Track and Field events will start on the track at 9:00.

The Creative Writing students created their own movie scripts and movie posters. Be on the look out for the next Steven Spielberg!

Career Day was on Wednesday, the 24th, at the junior senior high building! Students had the opportunity to visit with representatives from La'James International College, Indian Hills Community College (admissions, construction, software development, criminal justice, and physical therapy assistant), DMACC (admissions and tool & die), WorkSMART Connector, William Penn University (nursing), Mahaska Recreation Foundation, Knoxville Vet Clinic, AMC Mechanical Group, Knoxville Fire Department, Utz, and Weiler. Thank you to all who volunteered!







On Wednesday, several students had the opportunity to volunteer at the Special Olympics!

Iowa Wild visited today. They showed 5th-6th how to play hockey. Competition was fierce!

Twin Cedars 9th graders will be visiting Pella Career Academy to learn more about additional career and technical classes and work based learning opportunities available to take starting sophomore year!

Habitat for Humanity of Marion County will be partnering with the Construction Trades class once again to build a house in the Twin Cedars School District! Applications are due May 15th! Applications are available at the high school or the address on the flyer!

Highschool Baseball parents and players, the season is just around the corner! The first official practice will be Monday April 29th after school at 3:30pm, practice will be everyday the first week at 3:30pm.
