After graduation practice, the seniors put on their caps and gown to walk the elementary halls! This year, each senior walked with a kindergarten student! Graduation will be held on Saturday (5/13) at 10am in the high school gym.
The Kindergarten Associates (and Nurse Erin) had to kiss a frog today! Mrs. Sytsma's frog won the hop with a jump of 6'7".

Day 2 of the Senior Class Trip is in the books! Students enjoyed a tour of Bridal Cave and ate dinner on a sunset cruise of the lake!
Thursday, May 11 at 4:00 pm at BGM high school is the State Qualifying meet for your Saber Track and Field teams. Electronic tickets only. No cash sales will be accepted. Go Sabers!!
High School Athletic Banquet will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, May 8th in the high school gym. Athletes from football, volleyball, XC, basketball and track should be sure to attend.
Alumni baseball game is today! Concession stand will be open!
So far, so good for Elementary Track and Field Day today! The fun begins at 9:00 with running events.
If Track & Field Day would happen to get canceled because of the weather then I will move the meeting to the make up date of Friday, May 12 at 8:30.

The seniors are having a blast in Osage Beach for their Senior Class Trip! Day one included lazer tag, frozen custard, and lots of go-kart races!
Fourth grade visited Oskaloosa yesterday on a field trip. They enjoyed the trams and information about the history of the area.

Yesterday, the juniors went to Pella Corporation to do a mock interview. This is a great experience for the students. I would like to thank the Pella Corporation team for taking time out of their busy schedule to teach the juniors about the interview process.
Oh how our students have enjoyed Mystery Readers in library this week. So far, 1st grade listened to Erika DeGeest. Kindergarten listened to Sheriff Sandholt, Deputy Short and Deputy Dallas. Fifth grade listened to Makayla Hirchak. The other grades are excited to find out their Mystery Readers!
