Today was our Celebration Assembly! Students of the Month: Rochelle Goemaat, Wyatt Crozier, Brenden Goemaat, Ayden Brees, Kaysen Boots, Livia Roland, Gage Rankin, Jaci Nelson, Ryley DeJong and Ripley Grimes. Our Library Leader was Brantley Vancenbrock. Bus Students of the Month were Sydney McElroy, Kaydin Fee and Bella Mae Zook. Golden Spatula Winner was Kindergarten. The Attendance Trophy went to 5th grade. We had 68 students with perfect attendance in October. We have 20 students with perfect attendance the first quarter.

Picture Re-takes are Thursday, November 2.

The weather looks too cold for an outdoor Halloween parade tomorrow. Instead we will have the parade in the elementary gym. If you'd like to watch, please enter the gym through the outside door. The parade is at 2:30. The door will open at 2:15.

We had 72 families/students visit the fair (about 40% of our elementary enrollment). There were 9 staff members who purchased things for their family, themselves, or their classrooms. There were 4 junior/senior high students who received items purchased at the fair with their families. Prior to packing up, we purchased 25 new books to add to our library using Scholastic Dollars, and earned enough to be able to purchase more books later in the school year. Thanks to the promotion efforts before the book fair (advertising the eWallet, sending the principal letter, etc) and spending Scholastic Dollars during the book fair, we earned an extra $200 of Scholastic Dollars. We made our goal of at least $1500 sold which put us at 40% back in the form of Scholastic Dollars.
Thanks, TC Community, for your support of our library!
