
On Tuesday, April 25th, the junior class had the chance to tour The University of Iowa campus in Iowa City and learn more about the opportunities available to them there. They also got to dine like college students and catch up with a TC alum who currently attends there!



Friday, April 28, is beach day at the elementary! Bring a beach towel to sit on the floor and eat lunch in the cafeteria. We will listen to some great music and enjoy the nice weather!


REMINDER!!!!! Donuts w/Dads breakfast at the Elementary is Friday, April 28th! We will start serving at 7:00.

On Thursday, April 27th our lunch has changed to Turkey gravy w/roll & string cheese, Mashed potatoes, Steamed corn and Apples.

Twin Cedars Shooting Team senior, Landyn Roland. Landyn plans to attend Wm. Penn and continue shooting with Penn's trapshooting team. He will then transfer to Iowa State to finish his Engineering degree. Congratulations, Landyn!


These students qualified to compete in the Iowa Junior High Knowledge Bowl today at DMACC in Ankeny on Thursday. They represented Twin Cedars well!


Today, our sophomores are attending a county-wide Health and Wellness Day in Pella with sophomores from other Marion County schools!


The Junior High track meet at Melcher-Dallas is cancelled for today, 4/20/23.

Congratulations to Kail Arkema, TC's lone senior golfer with Knoxville. Kail plans to move to Kalona, Ia and pursue a career in the golf industry! Good luck, Kail!


Rylee Dunkin is the only senior representing Twin Cedars on the track this spring. Rylee competes in the long jump, 100, 800 and the mile for the Sabers. Rylee plans to attend Upper Iowa University this fall and play softball for the Peacocks. Good luck, Rylee!


Congratulations to Isiah Arreosola (Welding), Noah Fee (Engineering), Micah Ott (Construction Trades) and Katra Sterner (IT) for signing their letters of intent for apprenticeship and certificate programs through WorkSMART Connector today at Pella High School!







The FFA chapter had a great first day at State FFA Convention! Jayden and Maddie received a GOLD on their chapter display. Ami and Morgan served as delegates and we attended the first general session hearing from Iowa Native, Chris Norton!
