JH Baseball & Softball Season is Almost Here! 🥎⚾

Attention 6th grade families! Summer junior high baseball and softball are right around the corner, and we’re getting ready for an exciting season!

To help with planning, we are asking for a quick headcount of students interested in participating.

📣 Coaches:
Boys Baseball – Michael Fay
Girls Softball – Rylee Dunkin

🗓 Practices will begin as soon as school is out for the year.
⏰ Games will be held during the week in the mornings (around 10 AM, times may vary).

Reminder for Juniors/Seniors and Parents: Tonight is our Financial Aid Night! Come out to parent-teacher conferences and join us in the cafeteria at 5:30pm for a presentation from an Iowa College Access Network representative!

Congrats to The Solvers on their quick win in just 42 minutes during the Pizza & Puzzle Challenge Friday night! 🧩🍕 The Junior Class was honored to have 15 teams sign up and support their Prom fundraiser. Your participation made the night a great success! 🎉 We also want to thank De, Robin, Christy, Jo, and Sharla for donating the silent auction charcuterie boards!!!! 🧀👏

The PK-1st grade playground is ready for a little March Madness of its own!

Our students have a brand-new basketball hoop and they’re already practicing their jump shots, layups, and buzzer beaters.

A huge thank you to the Twin Cedars PTO for making this possible and to Michael Lenger for installing the hoop.

It’s a busy week! Parent-Teacher Conferences are happening Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please remember there will be a 2:15 dismissal each day to accommodate conferences.

Our softball and baseball teams are also in preseason workouts, putting in the work as they prepare for the upcoming season. 🥎⚾
