Hello! I am so excited to be joining the Twin Cedars district this year. I am the new 4th grade teacher and head varsity volleyball coach. I am from Carroll, Iowa. I graduated from Simpson College in 2020 and moved to Centerville, where I enjoyed teaching preschool at Seymour for 4 years. My boyfriend, Antonio, and I moved to Melcher-Dallas in October. We are excited to be new homeowners and have a busy road ahead for the projects we want to complete. In May, I graduated from Drake University with a master’s degree in effective teaching. Outside of school, I enjoy seeing family, spending quality time with my niece, putting together puzzles, playing volleyball, baking, and reading. I chose Twin Cedars because I felt welcome from my first phone call with Mrs. Geetings. I have received tremendous support as I set up my classroom and prepare for the volleyball season. I’m looking forward to working with a motivated administration team, an understanding and supportive assistant coach, and a great group of teachers who love what they do. It’s going to be a great year as a Saber!

Twin Cedars CSD is looking to hire a couple positions for this upcoming school year. First, we are looking for a bus driver to help fill our routes.
