Mrs. Davis created a walking/trotting/running course on the playground. These 3 were on it this morning!
6th grade had a special speaker yesterday. She spoke about the dangers of vaping.
Emma had a special delivery at school yesterday!
Hard to believe this many balloons, which is the number of Kindergarten friends represents how many school days are left. The kiddos are anxious to find out what is inside each balloon!
The boys meet @ Wayne tonight has been cancelled.
On Thursday, April 21st breakfast has been changed to a donut.
We have just been informed that the Varsity G/B Track meet at Melcher Dallas for Tuesday, April 19th has been cancelled.
This Friday, April 22 is Breakfast with Grandparents at the elementary. Breakfast pizza will be served instead of biscuits. All grandparents are welcome!!!

This last week we finally were able to get our track season 'running'. Highlights from IA Valley:
Sabers got 1st in sprint medley & distance med, 2nd in 4×2, 3rd shuttle hurdles.
Rylee brought home 1st in mile & 2nd long jump, Cheyenne 1st in 400 hurdles, Harlee 3rd open 400
The boys' track meet in Osceola (Clarke) has been postponed for today.
We have just been notified that the JH Track meet at Pella Christian for Thursday has been postponed. We will let you know if/when it will be rescheduled.
The power is out at the elementary and high school. We will not have it back on before school is dismissed at 12:15. We will dismiss any student who has a license to drive at 11:00 to go home. Not all food was prepared before the power went out. We will share food from the HS to the elementary so students can eat before we dismiss at 12:15.

The JH B/G Track meet at Lamoni tonight has been cancelled. The kids will still be having practice until 4:15.
